RSEQ PLAYOFFS PREVIEW

It's finally here! The playoffs start tonight. This where the best basketball is played. It's all or nothing at this stage. You either win or you're out. Plain and simple. There is no 7 game series here. The room for error is very thin as it could cost you your season. You can expect teams to come out and ball out!

Vanier College will be the host to this years playoffs. The quarter finals take place tonight as the Dawson Blues take on the Champlain Cavaliers. The Blues were 2-0 in their regular season matchup. The Vanier Cheetahs will host John Abbott at home. Vanier will be looking to win back to back versus them as they won in that matchup in their last regular season game. They’re 2-0 in their regular season matchup as well. The highest seeded winner in either game will go on to play the number 1 seed Brébeuf this Saturday and the other winner will face up with Montmorency, the 2nd seed. Then finally, on Sunday, the two losers will play for bronze at 12pm and the finals will be at 5pm.

This is it! The championship is up for grabs, its for the taking. This is a completely different season. Are we going to see the best strive or upsets? Are the seniors going to show up or are the rookies going to seas the moment? Is going to be be blowout wins or buzzer beaters? Who's going to be clutch and who's going to choke? You have to stay on the tip of your feet. It's playoff time! You can be sure Hoops On The Rise will have to covered.
